康华中文学校自2005年成立以来， 办学极为成功. 应广大家长和热爱中国文化人士的要求, 康华中文学校将继续招生， 以满足社区的要求。

康华中文学校办学宗旨是: 在老师,学生和家长的共同努力下,为孩子们提供一个生动有趣的中文学习环境.  通过生动活泼的童谣, 童话, 寓言和经典故事, 增进孩子们对中文和中华文化的理解和认识,培养孩子们的中文学习兴趣, 根据学生的语言环境和需求施教, 以满足不同的学习目标, 把康华中文学校办成一个高水平的中文教学和中华文化传播相结合的系统, 以顺应时代发展变化的需要。

除了语言课，学校还提供丰富的文化课，如中国舞，武术，美术，棋类，和奥数课等等。

康华中文学校旨在服务康州华社会员，学生注册前家长需要先行会员注册或者更新华社会员资格。

费用：详见在线注册系统，注册从2018年4月22日开始，截止日期是2018年5月13日。学校从4月22日至5月13日，每周日的早上九点到十一点有专人在Vance Adademic Center 105帮助注册和解答问题。 

中文课学费：$300.00/华社会员；$380.00/非华社会员
课外课学费：$100.00 如果也注册了中文课；
                      $200.00 如果没有注册中文课
华社会费:   $25.00 /家庭/年
学校注册费:  $50.00/学生/年 (2018年5月13日前注册的家庭免收注册费, 5月13日以后注册的家庭收注册费).
网上付款优惠： $20 off $300 中文课。

新的网上数据库已全面完成并投入使用，请家长们上网注册。5月13号以后，学校会email通知网上付款。今年学费可以用支票，现金或网上用Checking Account支付。为了鼓励大家网上支付，$300的语言课程，在15天内付款可以享受$20的优惠。目前我们不接受信用卡。望见谅。

开班条例：
新开班每班至少9个学生。已有的班级每班至少7个学生。如学生人数不够，学校有权取消该班。
 
插班学生收费规定：
2018年11月31号前交全学费，2018年12月1号至2019年2月28号交2/3学费，2019年3月1号之后交1/3学费。所有插班生需交$50.00注册费。
 
 退费规定：
第二次上课当天或以前要求退费，学费100% 全退。第三次上课当天或以前要求退费，学费退50%。第三次上课以后要求退费，学费不退。此规定也适用于课外活动班退费。如果学校由于种种原因取消班级，学费100%全退。书费，注册费，华社会员费不退。
 
 隐私保护规定：
学校从注册系统中得到的个人或家庭信息，如姓名，地址，电话号，邮箱地址只供学校使用。 不会提供给第三方。
  
入学最低年龄要求：
2018年12月31日以前满4周岁的孩子可以入学。

With the strong support from the community, Connecticut Chinese Language Academy (CCLA) of Chinese Culture Center (CCC) has been a great success since its inception in 2005. To meet the demand from the parents in the community as well as friends, families, and the people who love Chinese culture, CCLA will continue to offer the best quality education programs to the community.
 
The mission of CCLA is to provide an interesting, lively, and fun learning environment for children of all ages through Chinese folk, fairy tales, poems, classical stories, etc. while achieving designated levels of language proficiency based on different needs.
 
In addition to the language classes, CCLA also offers cultural activity classes, such as Chinese Dancing, Martial Arts, Chinese Arts & Craft, Chess, and Olympic Math. These cultural classes take place after the Chinese classes. Please see the details in the registration system.
 
Connecticut Chinese Language Academy is intended to serve Chinese Culture Center members, before registering, parents need to register to be CCC members or renew their memberships.
 
Tuition: Details available at the online registration system.  Registration starts on April 22 2018 and ends on May 13 2018 to avoid $50 registration fee.  Help is available on Sundays, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6 and 5/13 in Vance Academic Center 105 at CCSU. 
 
Chinese class Tuition: $300.00/member
                                        $380.00/Non-member
After school class: $100.00 with Chinese class registration
                                 $200.00 without Chinese class registration
CCC Member fee: $25.00/Family/Year
Registration fee:   $50.00/Student (The registration fee will be waived if you or your kids register the new school year before May 13, 2018 and pay it within 15 days after you get invoice email. )
Online Payment Discount: $20 off $300 language class.
 
Payment can be paid through cash, check or online payment by using checking account.  After May 13 2017, school will send out invoices through emails.  Please pay your invoice within 15 days after you receive you invoice.  You will get $20 discount if you pay it online.

Minimum Student Policy:
Minimum 9 students per class are required for any new classes that will be offered in the new school year. Minimum 7 students per class are required for any classes offered in the previous school year. Class could be cancelled if it does not meet the minimum student numbers.
 
Intermediate registration Tuition Policy:
Students registered before 11/30/2018 pay full tuition, registered from 12/01/2018 to 02/28/2019 pay 2/3 tuition, registered after 03/01/2019 pay 1/3 tuition. All late registrations must pay $50.00 registration fee.
 
Tuition and Fee Refund Policy:
Student who withdraws the day prior to or on the day of the second session will be refunded at 100%. A 50% refund will be granted if a request is made before or on the day of the third session. No refund will be allowed if a withdrawal is after the third session. If school decides to cancel the class due to the lack of students. 100% of refund for that class will be allowed. The same rule applies to the after school classes. Textbook, Registration fee, and CCC membership fee are not refundable.
 
Private Policy:
CCLA is committed to protecting the privacy of our parents. We collect nonpublic information in our registration system such names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses for school use only. We do not disclose any nonpublic information to the third parties.
 
Minimum Age Requirement:
A student need to be at least 4 years of age before December 31, 2018.
