More about CCLA

康州华社康华中文学校

CCLA, a subsidiary of CT Chinese Culture Center, is a non-profit organization promoting Chinese culture.  With the strong support from the community, the Connecticut Chinese Language Academy (CCLA) of Chinese Culture Center (CCC) has been a great success since its inception in 2005. To meet the popular demands from many parents in the community as well as those who love Chinese culture, the CCLA will continue to offer the best quality education programs to the community.

The mission of the CCLA is to provide an interesting, lively and fun learning environment for children from preschooler to teenager through Chinese folk & fairy tales, poems, classical stories and etc. while helping students achieve Chinese language proficiency through our weekly Sunday lessons.

In addition to the language classes, CCLA also offers cultural activity classes, such as Chinese Dance, Martial Art (Wu-Shu), Chinese Art (Painting and Crafts, Wei-Qi (Go) and Chess (or Chinese Chess). The cultural classes take place after the language classes.
